Lissycasey

Lissycasey (Irish "Lios Uí Chathasaigh" meaning ringfort of the Casey's) is situated in County Clare. The small village straddles the N68 Ennis Kilrush Road for 3.5Km. Lissycasey is famously known for the oldest fmaily run pub called Fanny O' Deas. Fanny O' Deas was famous for its long lasting burning fire and of course the egg flip in which the recipe was passed down for many generations.
Lissycasey is also well known for their talent in Irish music and dancing with numerous county, All Ireland and World titles, and also many famous musicians originated from Lissycasey, such as Noel Hill, Jack Talty etc.

Dingle/Corca Dhuibhne Co. Chiarraí

Corca Dhuibhne is the Gaeltacht area of West Kerry. A most beautiful, tranquil and idyllic part of Ireland, even in the bad weather. There are many activities including taking a visit to see Fungi the dolphin, visiting the Great Blasket Islands, or even just practicing your "cúpla focail" with the locals. There are so many hidden gems of beaches, with Com Dhíneol and Ventry beach to mention a few. And if you're a bit of a night owl, there are plenty of pubs and restaurants, to suit all tastes. These photos are some of my own, from my time spent there. On top is "An Sean Ché" near Feothanach and below is Ventry beach on New Years morning. It is definitely a place I would recommend to everyone!

Clifden

A beautiful area on the West coast of Ireland. Good criac in the pubs and some magnificent walks and hikes. To get the full value of Clifden one really should check into one of the local campsites. There's a range of fanastic sights and activities, such as heading out to the rabbit filled Omey island at low tide, or kayaking out see some of the remote islands located just off the coast. You'll find yourself surrounded by Irish history. Then settle back down around a camp fire and pop open a few cans. Perfection.
